International Institute of Technology & Management (IITM) is an organization with social entrepreneurship focus in the field of development, human resource training, research, project design, facilitation and implementation. IITM started its journey in 2004 and have advanced significantly since then. Through our professional training wing, we run comprehensive programs that are globally certified.

We also operate a multiple of Centers focusing on advancing the knowledge domain in specific disciplines. The Centers in operation at IITM are:

   a) The Center for Environmental Studies

   b) The Center for Trade and Policy

Two new Centers are being developed. They are the Center for Consumer & Demographic Studies and the Center for Applied Sciences.

In addition, at IITM, we develop special projects, run an unique incubation program and have a repository of Journals and related material that we update regularly. Researchers, scholars, advanced students, academics, professionals, etc. may obtain significant information from this section of the website.

We inculcate an environment of academic nourishment and  work on intellectually stimulating areas. In association with individuals and partner organizations, we have multi-disciplinary programs, trainings, research, workshops, and projects. Our training and development field focuses on specific learning through problem solving techniques, presentation skills and participatory leadership assignments. Through advanced training methodology, content and effective corporate participations, IITM has etched out a program that addresses the changing dynamics of frontiers of knowledge & education.

Conception of IITM

IITM started its journey with a novel idea that education, especially IT education should be made affordable and reachable to the people living even in the remote areas. After looking at various models and exploring the possibilities, we initially launched a program where we were supposed to work with international partner universities in Malaysia, UK and Australia. However, as we looked more deeply into their programs, we felt the need for having programs that are perhaps affordable for Bangladeshis and impacting even in the short run. This gave us the idea of starting programs such as Communicative English (CE), Skills Development Initiative (SDI) and CIMA program, although CIMA is a professional certification from CIMA Global of UK - www.cimaglobal.com, we saw that professionals of Bangladesh may get significant support through us by bringing this coveted certification training within their reach.

This led us to revise our plan and since then we have been thinking to introduce new programs at IITM. In the recent months we have introduced the Center for Environmental Studies (CES) and the Center for Trade & Policy (CTP) and two more Centers are being developed. They are CCDS & CAS.
